Great to catch up with you at Wakefield and 'pay off' my debt.

I am sure you will be pleased to know that the spare switch you sent has now been re-exported to Holland with Jaap Langenberg's Grey Knight.

The one that had been fitted was modern, in the wrong place (right where the driver's foot could kick it), soldered to the wiring and had a dry joint.

My son James fixed the joint and I presented Jaap with your spare switch for eventual replacement, hopefully in the right place.

What great event! We were overwhelmed with people interested in our wreck but the encouragement and advice - mostly useful - was very unexpected.

My son James may now be a convert to the cause, but he will sort out his Capri first.

Next stop Daventry?

Glad to 'hear' you made it home OK.

Looking at this website, there are some great pictures to go with the stories we shall remember - with advantages - of the Centenary Rally.

I hope there will be lots more, and I have put my name down for the DVD.
