Fit a water temperature sensor in each head (water drain tap) and oil temperature sensor in oil delivery pipe on exit of oil cooler. I modified the bango bolt to take one.
That way you can check jacket temp is above 75 C and oil temp is above 90 C. The header tank and sump temp which are the normal Jav/ Jup locations are not good indicators.
