Jowett Javelin song

Post by Tim Neville »

Just out of interest. I havn't noticed anywhere, including in the 'Jowetteer' or Jowett shop, any mention of 'The Jowett Javelin Song' by Harvey Andrews. Is this song 'ancient history' to all you 'old lags' out there, or has this newcomer stumbled on something?

This hadn´t been forgotten - I distinctly remember a recording of it being trotted out at a few rallies in recent years with much sober singing along... I think Tim Brown may have been responsible.

So, just to help with the late night carousing at Crieff and to offset any problems that befuddled brains may have, I have loaded the complete lyrics of “theâ€

Is this not the song that can be heard being emitted from the Morrisons Supermarkets Bradford - courtesy of Ray Horsfall?
