Jowett Javelin song
Just out of interest. I havn't noticed anywhere, including in the 'Jowetteer' or Jowett shop, any mention of 'The Jowett Javelin Song' by Harvey Andrews. Is this song 'ancient history' to all you 'old lags' out there, or has this newcomer stumbled on something?

Re: Jowett Javelin song
This hadn´t been forgotten - I distinctly remember a recording of it being trotted out at a few rallies in recent years with much sober singing along... I think Tim Brown may have been responsible.Tim Neville wrote:Just out of interest. Jowett Javelin Song (mini-libretto)

This CD contains some great tunes . . complete with lyrics that actually "say something"! . . . and of course it has on it track 7 . . . that well hummed classic, the "Jowett Javelin" song.
So, just to help with the late night carousing at Crieff and to offset any problems that befuddled brains may have, I have loaded the complete lyrics of “theâ€
