Post by Graham Hewitt »

Found this on the internet. 8) Many of you might have seen it before, but to me it was "new".

...and by the way....: I don't usually send Christmas Greetings in November....just for the record.

Xmas Greeting

Post by ian Howell »

Here's another one of those passing references that can lead to interesting discussions!

FAK 573. Is that 'real'? Is/was the car known?

I wonder if it belonged to a director of Newnhams - who were they- or perhaps it was bought by someone 'famous'!

What / who is at 235-7-9 Hammersmith Road W4 now?

Someone must live near / pass by that address. WE NEED TO KNOW!

Javelin pistons

Post by ian Howell »

It appears that Ford Fiesta pistons may be suitable for rebuilding Javelin engines, and that supplies are short?

I tripped over this reference to a possible source recently whilst investigating Fiesta engine tuning: -

"You can obtain the nozzles (see below), instruction books, Arias Pistons, and a variety of other import parts from Atlas Import Parts, Inc., Dept. TMEN, 685 North London Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601."

The 'nozzles' referred to are for WATER injection but the pistons appear to be standard Ford items.

Just an idea . . .
