That picture doesn't look like the diagram in my 1950 Javelin Owners book.

Andrew Henshall (?) in Australia has done extensive research on what was in them, but I don't know if he has a picture.

He gave me an Excel spread sheet for a PB De luxe. May be there were different tool kits as the years passed.

I tried to paste his spreadsheet into this message. but the formatting went to pieces.

From 1967 to '87 Black de Luxe Javelin MKC 1 (later 6469TU). (Sold as non-runner with tons of spares, 1987)
From about 1980 to '87 ex WD Jowett stationary engine. (Sold on)
From 1966 to present, 1930 Long Four Fabric Saloon, Dark Blue / Black.
Taken in a part-repaired state to the 2010 Centenary Rally, returned to a roadworthy state by 2013.

My Javelin had - among other items - two tubular spanners in the two recesses where the picture shows spark plugs and bulbs. Also I recall a bar about 1 1/2" long and probably 1/2" square with a hole in it for a 'tommy' bar, that I think fitted either the engine or gearbox drain plug.

The points tool and the tyre valve extractor were there too.

It was a long time ago now!
