A win for the Bradford

Post by dougie »

:D The Rath Braddy has picked up the best commercial at Queensland's RAC Motorfest. A big surprise, but I think the judges liked the look of being on it's way to work. We didn't restore the original seat and tried hard to keep it as possible. There is a lot to be said for not over restoring things. 8)

Restoration

I have recently read a book titled BACKFIRE by Alan Clark (he was an MP, but nobody's perfect) who used to write the 'Backfire' column in the Daily Telegraph.

He was a strong advocate of historic and cherished vehicles being kept 'in use' condition.

Regular readers will know I am restoring a 1930 Long Four (progress is best described as glacial) but having read the book I think my efforts are better described as 'repairs'.
