Paul, looking for the whisky to reach parts that the notable lager can't!
May start the whisky trail in Penrith on Wednesday night when we meet up with some Jups from down south. Then on to stay with a rallying friend from 20 years ago; hope to get him along over the weekend.

Jowett Rally - Scotland 08
36 HOURS TO GO
Tomorrow is getting the cars packed for an early start on Friday to Crieff. Everything appears to be in place. Not expecting too many last minute hitches. Many Jowetteers are now in Scotland awaiting the start on Friday. So see you in Crieff.
HAVE A SAFE JOURNEY

Drinks all round
Well that was very generous, thank you, but you may well end up missing next years rally as the cost will mean another years hard labour for David.
Compliments of the Season,
Alastair Gregg

Well, Barbara and I are home after a post rally tour of Scotland, England Ireland and Paris with a day in Brunei. Nearly seven weeks and one wet and two drizzly days couldn't have been better.
Enjoyed the rally, great venue, and terrific day tour. Some Jowetts I had not seen before and the pipe band made the concours day special. Congratulations to the organising team, an excellent job.
Thanks to those who offered hospitality post rally and for the ride in the back of a Javlein on the rally tour day.
Am already in recruitment mode for a Kiwi contingent at twenty ten.
Make sure if anyone comes down this way they get in contact with us or the Jowett Club, we would be pleased to see you.
Cheers
