Re: Long Two running temperature
Thanks for the last link Chris.
I tried eBay as well from the data on cbs website:-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/8-12v-UNIVERS ... 5d3a42080f
I'm sure there are many more suppliers out there.
Perhaps it's time for an upgrade, but some of the smaller fans take up to 80 watts apparently.
Tony.

Re: Long Two running temperature
Thats about 6.5 amps and should not be a problem as would only come into use in relatively short bursts to bring temperature below predetermined level . If eg climbing in a low gear a 10 amp charge would balance allowing for ignition etc and if it didn't or when idling in traffic any half decent modern 12 volt battery would have ample reserve ,especially if kept on charge during the cars 'dormant' periods.

Re: Long Two running temperature
just had a aquick look on ebay under car electric radiator fans and there are several buy now brand new 8 inch cowled pancake fans for around £20. They are reversible i.e can be made to suck or blow. the one I looked at even had a list of applications which may give a clue as to where to look in a scrapyard- but by the look of it a new one would be juct as cheap. Also 12 inch versions of same available.
