I have driven Jowetts with little or no brakes on many occasions, but a couple of thousand km to Wales would have been a struggle.

Hi Peter,

I am so glad your brakes are now ok! Mine are the full hydraulic type and I have no spares for the hydro-mechanical version, otherwise I would have been ablke to help you out. However, I have attached a data sheet which might be useful for the future, just in case you need it?

All the best and we look forward to seeing you at the Nation Rally in Llandrindod Wells.

Have a safe and smooth journey!

David

Hello Peter.

If you want to have a overhaul kit for your car in your spares stock for future use, and if there's any difficulty in obtaining the parts in Europe/UK then I'm pretty sure that the Spares people in the JCC of NZ can supply kits for both hydraulic/mechanical and also the full hydraulic types (they are different!).

smithjow"at" ihug.co.nz (substitute @ for "at", of course).

Have a great time in Wales!

Cheers.
Leo.
