Reading the very interesting article on page 8 of the August Jowetteer about Tom Blackwood's tractor, gave rise to the following thought: -
If the tractor was a 'one off' prototype, how did it find its way to leafy Surrey? Surely it would not 'naturally' have left the works, nor is it likely that a prototype would be sold for general use.
If there is a route to Surrey via someone involved in an 'experimental' department at Jowetts, is it possible that the same route led to my Long Four with the scarce Humphrey Sandburg freewheel, also turning up in Surrey in the 1960's, at Cranleigh, not a million miles from Bookham?
Hmmm . . .
