Visit to France with my Jowett Jupiter for an event on Sunday at Heudreville-sur-Eure EXPOSITION LES ANCIENNES EN VALLEE DE L'EURE 2 Sept 2007 south of Rouen: Early on Saturday Sept 1st, drove to Folkestone, Eurotunnel and from Calais to Dieppe, via seeing the Dieppe Retro entrant cars, while they were stopped having their their lunch break at a village near Dieppe. Next day, I left from Dieppe in the early morning, drove to Heudreville-sur-Eure (South of Rouen) where partcipated in static rally event (where a visiting group of old cars on a run stopped off) & got back for an evening meal in Dieppe. See http://www.laplanche.info/10.html for the 2006 event at Heudreville-sur-Eure, a good one day event in France at Heudeville-sur-Eure. I was (?) the only car that had come from Britain amongst nearly all French. One car (? a Fiat made ? under licence in the ? former Yugoslavia) had been driven from (?) Slovenia, (?) all others (?) were from else were in France or otherwise not so far (as well as agricultural vehicles). There were a few jumble stalls. Drive to Dieppe (France) via direct ferry crossing from Newhaven (near Brighton) or via Eurotunnel (near Folkstone) & Calais which is a three hour drive to Dieppe in the Jupiter (see http://www.eurotunnel.com/ & http://www.newhaven-dieppe.co.uk/ ).
