2008/7/7 ray avendt <ray.avendt@avendtgroup.com>:

what can I use for a replacement radiator cap for a 1951 Jupiter? What other car cap will fit?

Thanks Ray

You need a low pressure one less than 5 pounds per sq inch otherwise the water pump seals will blow. I got one from my motor factor about 10 years ago. Not sure what is available now.

Hello folks

Tony Mumby of JOAC supplied me with a new one from stock. It would be worth contacting him. They are a 4lb pressure cap.
Compliments of the Season,
