Jupiter sills

Post by Andy Stevens »

I have just got an estimate to replace the sills on my Jupiter....
To replace the sills (supplied by me), with the body frame still on the chassis, and small repair the bottom of the 'A' post, £500 max per side.

Is this outrageous or about right?

Your thoughts / views please! :)

JUPITER sills

ANDY I consider this to be expensive. Maybe it is just me as I would have no hesitation of doing this job myself. When I rebuilt the Jup I had the inner and outer sill members manufactured in 3mm steel. Certainly stiffened up the body shell.
