My 1930 Long Four has some iron braces fitted, internally to the centre door posts ('L' brackets) and externally to the front pillars (Full length 'D' section steel bars screwed in place).
I suspect these are not original - although they are certainly very old as the external ones are severely rusted at the bottom and they have been sheltered for the last 41 years.
Should either of these fittings be in place?
Also, has anyone got a good picture of the rear end of a Long Four? I am interested in the lamp layout / types - especially for the number plate, and the spare wheel carrier - was this a 'standard' fitting?
