Bradford van available for restoration.

Post by Forumadmin »

Good afternoon
My name is Stuart Whitby and I am managing director of Whitby Morrison where we manufacture ice cream vans (whitbymorrison.com).
We have a collection of around fifty restored heritage ice cream vans from the fifties onwards. These include Morris Type J, Austin Devon, Ford Thames, Bedford CA and Austin FG to name a few. We also have several more awaiting restoration.
Some time ago we we acquired a Jowett Bradford in poor condition and the bottom line is that we are unlikely to find time to restore it. As we needed the space, it is now in an open yard and I write to enquire if any of your members would be interested.
It would be a shame not to restore it but for many it is too far gone. If you are interested, please get in touch and I'll email a few pics.
In the meantime you might be interested to look us up on YouTube where you will find some interesting footage including a BBC Documentary.
Best wishes
Stuart (Office number 01270 581318)
