I will be there on Sunday 26th August in the Javelin for a short while. Hope to see some of the Devon Jowetts there.

Rally is cancelled. Probably because the River Taw is bursting its banks, the field is waterlogged or just the risk was too great. Anyway the news was greeted by the warmest sunniest day of the summer in Devon. Still raining ALL day in murky London.

Anyway still taking the Jav the 230 miles there and may meet up with some Jowett friends on Saturday in Woolacombe. Sunday will be liesurely drive across Exmoor back to the congestion of London.

THe journey to Devon was challenging. We started in the Javelin; but after an hour covering 15 miles on the M25 I turned around and drove the back lanes home to pick up the Subaru. We avoided the Motorways then as they were all congested. Glad I did change car as traffic was not enjoyable. Now looking forward to Goodwood this weekend.
