Ebay track rod ends

Post by rob needs »

The chap selling these on ebay had this at the bottom of the auction.

Lots of other new Jowett stuff, engines gearbox's,glass etc.

I asked him how much for a Javelin engine and gearbox, thinking, this is too good to be true. He replied "sorry rob,all the Jowett stuff went to the crusher,i had no control over it" Might have been true, who knows :?:

E-bay track rod ends

I communicated with this chap as well, same reply! It is indeed a shame if so many Javelin parts (and I understand cars) have been crushed. What a waste. Still, with the price of scrap being so high at the moment, one might understand the motivation behind the yard owners keenness to scrap them. Blame the Chinese!

Interesting observation, but surely there could never actually, long term, be too many spares? Whoever owns or holds them.

If you would like to assist the Car Club in finding, saving, making, sourcing, organising, cataloguing, cleaning, refurbishing, picking, posting ......I am sure our hard working spares team would be grateful.

If you are not willing to do that then you are in no position to criticise!
