Looking to hear from Short Two owners.

Post by Cyclecars »

I am a proud new owner of a '24 Short Two in the USA. I am learning by fumbling around and am ready to move to deeper stages of fixing and driving. My first questions related to the carburetter (carburetor in the US). This carb seems to have no strangler/choke. Is this normal? I assume not.
I am looking for a copy of the owners guide if there is one. I looked and do not see anything in the literature section besides the 1930's vintage handbook sixth edition document. I have no documents that describe this car at all.
I am looking for a "pen pal" so to speak that can help guide me with this specific model.

Hi Keith,
If you join the Jowett Car Club you will have access to the Technical Library on JowettTalk. This has some manuals that may be relevant to the Short 2.
