AN INVITATION to the 37th ANNUAL REUNION

SATURDAY August 12
th 2023.

This is your personal invitation to come, preferably in your Jowett, to the Annual Reunion of former employees with
members of the Jowett Car Club. You will be made very welcome!
The Reunion is held at the Bradford Industrial Museum, Moorside Road, Eccleshill, Bradford, BD2 3HP. Brown
tourist information signs may help to locate it. Moorside Road is off the A658, less than a mile north from its junction
with the A6117 Ring Road at Undercliffe. Please aim to arrive from 11.00 am. JOWETT vehicles may park in the
museum grounds. There are a limited number of spaces for Disabled Badge holders. There is a large amount of on
street parking by the museum for modern cars.
Activities and refreshments, on arrival, members are invited to ‘sign-in’ at the welcome point and collect tickets for
the light refreshments. These will be served by ladies of the Northern Section. Follow the signs and please bring your
tickets!
Raffle, if possible, please help by donating prizes which are most welcome prior to, or on arrival. Tickets will be on
sale during the day and the raffle will be drawn in the afternoon.
Memorabilia, it is hoped that there will be a display of club archives/photos provided by our club Librarian, Noel
Stokoe and items brought by former employees and members. Please bring your own favourite items to share.
Jowett Car Club Shop, the newly reorganised and consolidated shop will be in attendance, so take advantage of this
opportunity to browse the merchandise.
Seats on site, a limited number of seats will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own folding chairs.

displays and exhibits of Bradford’s industrial past including wool textile spinning and weaving etc., steam engines,
