Gearbox stitched, rear diff casing replaced, myriad wee jobs later and Polly enjoyed the LCES Welsh weekend, which was a bit wet at times. The problem with having 2 6ft plus in a Sports is there is no hope of putting the hood up and being able to drive…so we leave it off. Fortunately Matt was my rain stop as it mainly came from his side

Hi Bruce,
Doesn't 'Polly' look much more substantial than the rickety '27 Austin or the '29 Morris.
Maybe it's the fat tyres on her.
Lovely photos. Perhaps send them to Hon. Ed., then one of them might reach a wider audience.
Regards,
Tony.

Re tyres - the rears are nice new Longstone 19x4.5” and gave a lovely ride. A lot of A7s bemoaned the artillery wheels being better than the wires… having had to lug them around I beg to differ as they weigh considerably more! Having said that they are very robust.
The A7 amaze me though and it is little wonder it took off and others struggled to follow, certainly on price.
The Morris Minor did have a nice engine though.
