I managed to buy my first Jowett and won it :)

Don't suppose any one has any more info on it?

Still need to arrange collection of it and find somewhere to store it (had a place in mind but since let me down)
Many thanks
Marcus

Hello Marcus, and well done. You'll not regret it.
Good to see you now have a Javelin, even though in the past you dallied with pre-wars for sale.
The first thing you must do is join the Club if you haven't already. It's a no-brainer.
There's a wealth of knowledge already posted on this site as you know, being a JowettTalk member for the last two and a half years, and there will be more to come in the future.
What other car could you have bought to have fun with, having been born in Idle?
Where are you now in the U.K.?
Tony.

Your interest in the forum: I now own Javelin E0 10010 (formerly Robin Fairservice's car in British Columbia). I spent some time figuring out a terrible racket in the engine and it will be used in the summers, alongside my collection of British obscurities (well, they are obscure here in N America).

I'll be looking for technical help, spares, and the sort.

Well done, Marcus. We'll be looking forward to news and pictures (lots of pictures!) when you finally get your hands on it!
