Early rear axle hub

A friend in the Jowett Car Club of Australia gave me this early rear axle hub recently and said that he was fairly sure it was off a Pre-war Jowett. It has the usual keyed taper to hold it onto the end of the half shaft, but it has 6 studs in the flange on a 4" PCD. My Pre-war 7hp has 5 studs on a 5.5" PCD, and photos of vintage Jowetts show that they too had 5 stud wheels, so my question is, given that it's not off a Jowett, what is it off? It's obviously not a trailer hub because they don't have a keyway in a taper.

Your interest in the forum: Jowett Bradford owner with an interest in older British cars currently have 1937 Jowett 10 hp roadster, 1948 Morris Six, restored but now in only fair condition, 2 CC Bradfords, 1 restored and the other unrestored.
An unrestored 1956 Jaguar 2.4 Saloon.

Hi Andrew,
It is most likely Jowett, my 1937 10 hp has 6 stud hubs similar to the one pictured.
The stud pattern is the same as a Bradford.

G'day Barry,
Peter Coakley gave me the hub. Your 10 hp is an ex-Ray Hoey car, and Peter's 10 hp went to Ray Hoey, and is now with Brian Hehir over there in WA with you, and so I guess the hub was a part that Peter had acquired somewhere that was missed when the cars were collected from Moe. Peter wants it to go to a 10 hp owner, and Brian is registered for the 2022 RACV JCCA National Rally at Beechworth next month, so I can take it up there and hand it to him for you two sort out later who it eventually goes to! Brian Hehir's 10hp is the 1936 tourer ( Australian body we believe) his grandfather bought new, and the chassis is virtually the same as the 7hp. I am helping Brian get organized to start restoration of this unique vehicle that has been in his family for 86 years.
The hubs on his are 5 stud probably the same as a 7hp, where mine has a completely different chassis and the 6 stud hubs.
Mine came from Ray Hoey and did belong to Peter Coakley at some stage, the only other 10hp Brian has is a parts car ( not much of it there) that came from Perth somewhere.
I won't be attending the Beechworth Rally, I did originally intend to go but all the Covid restrictions made it too complicated so I pulled out.
Brian says he is going, but I think it is still a bit up in the air.
