Jowett Agent In Bristol - 1950s

Post by Mike Allfrey »

A quick question, does anyone know which company was the Jowett agent in Bristol?

This is something that has gone from my memory!

Here's to a much better year for us,

There are Jowett publications with a list of agents which should be in the Library or Archive. You can use the search facilities perhaps.
https://jowett.net/searchserver.php

Took me 10 secs to search for agents in Archive which found 388 results , the second is the agent list .
The page lists 3 agents in Bristol.

The security system that protects our Archive prevents linking directly into it.

The search also tells you the forum and post the document is in. Notably F=97_P=25608 which you can substitute into an URL to find in JowettTalk and the Library.

Code: Select all

viewtopic.php?p=25608#p25608

I have been struggling for two months to integrate the Archive into JT but software versions on the new server in the cloud have prevented this so it is still on the old server

Thanks Keith,

City Motors, came back to me as soon as I found the list.

That is good. All the best for 2022!
