My grey 1952 Javelin has red leather seats - or they were red initially. I don’t want a re-trim because of the cost, and because I prefer the ‘well looked after but not new’ look. The last time I re-did leather seats was my P5B about 25yr ago and I’m very impressed with the availability of crack and damage repair stuff now available.
I was wondering if there was more than one red used? Does anyone have a Pantone colour reference or experience of a particular colour from a particular vendor? Or for that matter the repair products from any particular vendor?
The maroon dye I still have from my Rover is way too dark.
