Lightweight car cover
I'd be very glad of suggestions for a suitable lightweight winter dust cover for our Jupiter, garaged with the hood up, MGA for example. Many thanks.

Re: Lightweight car cover
Roger,
I've used Maypole 9861 Breathable Car Cover - Medium
Its a soft fabric.
A water-resistant and breathable car cover, allowing condensation to evaporate from under the cover.
Made from non-woven polypropylene with double-stitched seams and an elasticated hem
It is not the nylon-type of the one discussed in the thread referred to by Keith.
Then again, I cannot vouch for safety:
Like all organic compounds, polypropylene is combustible.[68] The flash point of a typical composition is 260 °C; autoignition temperature is 388 °C

You need to be careful with plastics on paintwork, they can stick or discolour the paintwork particularly in hot conditions or after extended exposure. Cotton lined covers are best.

Re: Lightweight car cover
Thanks for the advice. In the end I went for an MGA size Indoor / Outdoor cover from Coverdale, so far so good.
