The Jupiters nexts outing is at Brooklands Auto Italia spring Day! 5th May.
Another hot day and a two hundred mile trip for the old girl.
I will see if on the day,if i put the old girl and myself through its paces on the Mercedes new world test track now that it will be the first time the public can enjoy this thrilling track.
Plenty to see and do,well worth a day out.
Brooklands for the Jupiter.
An early start with a fast run to Brooklands, oil pressure 75lbs, water 75f up and down hills to arrive with the car having a prime reserved position with another Somerset owner in his Newton-Ceirano.
My word did the Jupiter cause much interest with photo shoots and magazines enquiring to do write ups.
Thanks to all who journey to the event.
The other Chris,Brian,Paul,John, Ian etc etc.
Chris F, the "test hill" time not yet confirmed was a respectfull 6.8 seconds wow! still with the high liner protrusion low head stud mono torque and no probs.
Now running a 5/40 fully synthetic oil and no leaks, this is the way forward.
The video with jowett sound with the two runs will be with me in the near future.
This will if all works be on the Jupiter magazine web in the near future. http://www.jowettjupiter.co.uk/magazine.htm
Is there a easy way to put pictures up within the text here.
I can do it ok on other forums?
There was no shortage of the younger generation showing much interest in cars old and new,the venue had alot to do with that with all the other atractions i am sure.
The old type of National rallys are not the way forward for getting the younger generations interested in the cars, take note!
Clubs do need the younsters to follow on or the Jowetts will be dead ducks
David Morris,Your name came up with a reporter who met me on the way in and we arranged to meet later but due to the hectic time scale of events we failed to meet unless it was one of the others, if you could let him know that it would be ok for him to do photos and article.
If you let him have my phone number, thanks.

Pat,
Load the pictures or movies into theJowettGallery; just like you have done in the past. Then link the picture with the URL button. https://jowettnet/forum/download/file.p ... &mode=view
Do not underestimate the amount of work that goes into compiling a magazine. There has been a magazine section on JowettNet for many years; but I have not the time to update it. Copies of the Jowetteer are probably going to be available on JowettGallery shortly. I would encourage eveybody to send copy to the editor. The JowettTalk forum allows members to publish their own reports on events and include exotic media, such as movies, into them.

Keith, i have put my password and user name in so many times,i have also typed in the number shown in the box many times, still no access.
the gallery has now become somthing of a fog in my memory.
As for the URL button what is that?Ah the one above!
Let me see if that works with an attachment.
As you can see my use of the computer proceedure is not that good.
Anyway the next event with the Jupiter is down to Beaulieu on the 12th, cripes next Saturday, as i need some spares for some other cars, not Jowett as they seem so reliable, famous last words!
Triumph Gloria anyone with any bits?

Farina Jupiter/Brooklands Italian Car day
Not having an Italian car & coming by London Underground, railway train & walking from Weybridge Station, I spent a few hours at the event (not my first visit to the museum). I took photographs of which I have published a selection [look for '2007May:Farina Jowett Jupiter (Italian Cars at Brooklands, Chris Freudenberg photos') after clicking on 'NEWSLETTER' at my web domain page www.plusiarts.co.uk ]. I have not mananged to put on DVD yet or publish my short "movie" of the Farina going up the test hill. Regards, Chris Freudenberg
