In 2006 I visited Peter Swan to have a look at his extensive collection of cars. Barry Turner turner'at'axisafrica.joburg who lives in Johannesburg and has two Jowetts himself heard that Peter now has dementia and wants to find a home for his Jowetts. Barry has taken some pictures of the cars and should be contacted if you would like to learn more.
Deluxe Javelin, chassis starts E2 P, no engine but has rubber type suspension rust and accident free.
Standard Javelin, chassis D8 PA 281, cream colour, runs well, came from Zimbabwe about 20 years ago.
Standard Javelin, chassis E2 PD, has the later standard dash with round instruments, runs well, colour green.
Jupiter, E4SC1011 with boot lid, chassis and suspension re-built, gearbox overhauled. Its engine is missing but I think Peter has all the parts to build an engine.
