Knocking a dent out of the side may mean removal of the mechanism. The 4 screws holding the spring in should be removed, then you may be able to get the mechanism out depending on how loose the glass is in the channel. Moving the mechanism to fully closed position shook enable you to get the wheels out of the greased channel.
With mechanism removed the glass can be dropped out. With luck.


Removing the door card may have issues.
Use a two fingered lever to pop out the clips. Be very careful removing the set screw in the door knob . Use the two fingered lever to also push back the chrome cowl against its spring to remove the winder pin.
