Nigel: - I can't comment on the presence or otherwise of door seals, however if they are / should be of sponge rubber material in an extruded form then you could do worse than to look at the website of 'Baines of Tunbridge Wells'.

I have used them for many years, they are knowledgeable and helpful and their range of products is ENORMOUS.

Nigel - The only type of fitting that was fitted to your 10/4 was more of a draught excluder than a door seal - the original ones consisted of a rubber tube that was wrapped in a rexene / vinyl type material - please see the image below

This was then tacked on to the ash frame of the car - see further image

This is a actual Jowett factory original fitted to a Bradford

In later years a product called 'Furflex' came about which is more of a plush type material and is more athletically pleasing than original type of vinyl covered draft excluders - it's still formed over a rubber tube or piping
20180406_201728.jpg
They are two different types of fixing one is 'push on furflex' which is fitted to later type vehicles with a steel upstand to the door aperture - the other which maybe fitted to your car is 'tack on furflex' and has described is tacked on to the ash frame - it comes in a wide range of colours - see mocked images below

Now this just addresses the draught proofing of the door apertures and that's all that vehicle manufactures did no door seals were fitted

However it does not prevent you from doing something about - there is a whole range of products that are widely available in todays market that were not available when your car was built - I am just completing a Bradford restoration and like your car is was not fitted with door seals - I am going to fit some and have sourced a suitable section - please see image below
20180406_201944.jpg
This a sponge rubber which has a lot of give in it so it should not unduly make the closing of the door any more difficult

And mocked insitu
20180406_202004.jpg
This is glued in place but it's critical that a automotive quality high temperature trim adhesive is utilised for the fitment of it - I can post a few images of it in place once I undertake it over the next few days - I have contacts with trade suppliers for these materials and can forward them or order them on your behalf - if you would prefer to talk the options or process through with me then by all means give me a call - my number is in the front of the Jowetteer - Regards Chris

Im interested in what you were going to do for the 10 and how well it works. My mate just fitted some door seals to his javelin. It made me think I would like reduce the gaps around my doors in my 8. Stop the draft and any possible rain coming in.
