Nut and bolt supplies

Post by TedAllen »

I was in my local engineers supply 'shop' on Friday and it occurred to me that I was very fortunate in having them so close to home. They stock a large range of all sizes including BSF and BSW. One useful nut I have used is the Half inch BSF locknut which has cured the over-run vibration on the Javelin.. I asked if they had many left and was told 'about 2000 ' I was in there for some 3/16BSW by 4" countersunk set-screws in mild steel and they had them in stock ! Bearing in mind that many of our members live some way from places like this, I am willing to get any obscure items for them for the cost of the item, postage and a jiffy bag.
Normally, small orders cost a couple of pounds for the tea fund and no paperwork. Might be of use to someone out there.
