Well if it's not escaped your notice - I became the registrar a little earlier this year, I acquired a 1943 example several years ago which I need to get restored and painted up over this winter - we rarely see stationary engines out on display or working as they can be something of a liability given their weight and lack of self mobility - but I am here to help so if you have a stationary engine within your Jowett collection that tends remain largely stationary - maybe you might like to consider unearthing it - again if you need help just ask and I will get something arranged.

Chris:-
As you may know,I used to own an exWD like yours some years ago.
It was very heavy and I never had the means ie trailer, to get it to shows.
I did however get it to run at home on a few occasions BUT I had a lot of trouble with the 'trip' magneto.
I shall watch your progress with interest!

Hi Ian, do we have a list of known stationary engines, also do you keep a list of Bristol Crawlers, as I would like to know more about both.
Best wishes,
Noel
