'Javelin' chrome boot strip

Post by stephenelliott »

I am looking for a 'Javelin' chrome strip for the rear of my 1949 car. Any-one have any ideas about obtaining one? Also an original windscreen wash bottle is needed.

I am sure Jowett Car Spares will have the rear chrome strips.

Washer bottles were not fitted from new, so best trawl eBay for a suitable period one.

Thanks for the tip. I have seen an image of my car taken 10 years ago and the Javelin logo strip was missing from the boot then. I'll call the store next Monday

Have been in touch with the parts dept and they had some 'Javelin' Chrome strips made several years ago but have none left and no plans to have more made at the moment, so I'm still looking for one chaps!
