Your interest in the forum: We are currently doing a full restoration of a javelin, the car is just a painted shell, we didn't strip it so every resource we can find is proving very handy.

Rubber finisher on front & reasr wings

Post by Tonybarnard »

I need to know what the cross section looks like of the rubber that is on the rear edge of the front wings and front edge of the rear wings where the door shut is, we are currently rebuilding a javelin from a bare shell after not stripping the car down ourselves, so any help would be fantastic. I imagine the rubber is available from baines, its just knowing what it is.

This would be my choice But the original on mine is a little perished so not sure if it is a bead or T section like this
Awider open section might give more seal on door closure.
