Shame this could not be saved. Pic.taken in Garstang near Preston, car on the way
to the crusher, info. some spares were removed.

I presume this is a recent photo. Perhaps Castrol could have used it in a new advert without the furore of the past.
Seriously, having seen the lengths that Chris and the gang have had to go to, to restore Peter's Javelin, it doesn't look like a feasible restoration, although there must have been glass and few axle and suspension parts salvageable.
