Thinking about it, would a "News" forum be a sensible idea, in which we can include relevant pieces in the current news that forum readers might find interesting? Often it seems there are interesting things that I see that are worth sharing, but don't want to clutter up the technical and historic sections of the forum, but would be interested to see pieces from members around the world that are relevant to the classic car community.

Of course sometimes these are big enough to deserve a thread in their own right (such as the changes to VED or ethanol in fuel) but often they are smaller bits that would probably be read but might not generate much conversation.

In line other forums I would also like to see a 'Recommendations' thread where owners that have received good service / value from a commercial organisation - they can add it to the listing in order to help other club members.
