Steering Wheel Boss

Post by AmilcarJohn »

Hi All -I have seen a number of Jupiters (and some Javelins) fitted with Moto Lita and other proprietary steering wheels. In fact my own car has a Mountney wheel and boss (6 bolt) fitted. From this I assume that the Jupiter/Javelin splined centre is a standard fitment, but is obviously not listed by wheel manufacturers. Can anyone enlighten me as to which cars share the same splines on the column?

Thanks -I had seen that thread, but didn't expect that Volvo 444 would be listed by the steering wheel companies -but it is. So am I safe to order a Moto Lita boss for the Volvo?

When I got my two Mountneys I think they must have known it fitted a Jup and Javelin. Perhaps they have now forgotten. Put the risk back on the supplier.
