If it is the Peter Furness I know, the car is in numerous pieces . Peter drove it for many years, & then dismantled it for restoration thirty-five years ago. I helped him pull it down. Kids & jobs got in the way, & when I last saw it two years ago he was madly trying to finish it for his 75th birthday. Which is this year. His sons were helping, & I believe it is now a goer. He lives in Martin place , Kelston , New Zealand. & would be happy to hear from you.

The car is not a runner but Peter is making great progress. It is a ground up rebuild, there was a lot of rust around the fire wall and this has been totally rebuilt and is now back on the chassis. The chassis has been cleaned and painted, the bonnet and rear panels still have to be attended to along with the mechanicals.

Hi David, we have our AGM next weekend so I will talk to Peter about posting some pictures, or the next time I am over there I can take my camera.

Hi David,
I visited Peter a couple of weeks ago camera in hand, but Peter has asked for a bit of time to clear some of the stuff that is around the car to allow a better picture to be taken. I think that Keith Clements might have dropped into Peters to look at the Jowett parts a couple of days ago a so he may have a few pictures then. I will chase Peter up again.

Regards

From what I have been told Peter Died a few years ago, & the car was incomplete. Can one of the Kiwis please let me know who now has the car. A photo would be much appreciated.
I helped Peter start the rest & would love to think it is now running.
