Clubs’ Theme Announced 0 by Andy Rouse In Classic Car Show - News · NEWS — 25 Jul, 2013 First of many as classic show launches theme In celebration of the inaugural Footman James Manchester Classic Car Show, to be held at Manchester’s Event City on September 21st & 22nd, organisers have announced the 2013 show-theme as ‘Launches’. Andy Rouse, of show-organisers One Louder Events Ltd said: “It’s a very exciting time for everyone involved with the event, particularly with 2013 being the first of many to come. Every year we’ll give participating clubs a common theme which they may choose to incorporate into the design and content of their stands. ‘Launches’ seemed to be the obvious choice as we’re celebrating ours, and our sponsor Footman James is celebrating 30 years since its inception.” Exhibiting clubs are encouraged to use the theme to tell a story and engage the visitors. This can be something as simple as telling the story of; how their club came to exist, the characters involved and how it all started, or maybe to pick a particular model/marque that has an interesting launch story alongside original adverts and brochures of the time. “The theme is deliberately ‘broad’ in order to encourage as much participation as possible and we look forward to seeing the clubs’ interpretations”, added Mr Rouse. Andy Fairchild, managing director of show sponsor, Footman James said; “The theme ‘Launches’ works on many levels and with many marques and car clubs celebrating anniversaries this year too, it will provide scope for them to enjoy a moment of nostalgia while celebrating being part of this exciting new classic show. We too hope to use the theme as a spring board to launch a fantastic new competition, details of which will be revealed soon so keep your eyes peeled on our website and the show website for more details of how to win big!” Tickets are on sale now. Adults £13.00, under 16’s FREE* (*one free under 16 per paying adult – additional under 16’s half price). Car Parking is Free.
