Wednesday 12th June – Technical Evening at Carstins. 324 Station Road, Balsall Common, West Midlands CV7 7EF
Richard Gane has organised a Technical Evening on Wednesday 12th June. This will take place at Carstins, 324 Station Road, Balsall Common, West Midlands, CV7 7EF. They will be laying on a small buffet but there is also a decent pub, The Railway Inn immediately opposite which does nice meals apparently. The garage is also adjacent to Balsall Common station should anyone want to arrive by train but we would want to encourage everyone to come in a Jowett if they can. Richard is going to put two of his cars in their showroom for the night and will have the racing Jupiter in the workshop. There will be a ramp free for anyone who wants to look underneath their vehicle(s) and there will be technical help on hand. Additionally, he will arrange for one of the technicians to have a Subaru engine dismantled alongside a Jowett 4 cyl. for interest and comparison. We invite members from all sections to join us on what is looking like being a good and very interesting evening, ladies are welcome too.
