A Jowett with this number , DZ1084-- a 1932 onwards Antrim series--is in the 2008 register as 4 37434, Standard Saloon, 1934, colour unknown . the owners name is quoted. Bob Lintott

I just noticed that the seller includes a picture of OY 8670 --which is in the register as known but not registered with the club -- which is 4- 38045, close to the dismantled car for sale , but is currently featured on "natter" as the hoped for classic car of the year with a well known owner! The picture is actually the same one which appears in the classic magazine description of the entry for the competition, although the words are fuzzy . Lets hope the seller votes for him! Bob

Re DZ 1084, sadly the sellers had an inflated idea of value and withdrew the car early. I,ve tried to be honest with them and they have agreed to keep in touch. They have promised not to let it go for a hot rod or a steamer so time will tell. Dave Thomson, Scottish Section Sec.
