Oct 1st -3rd – Isle of Man weekend: planning well advanced with twelve cars making
the trip and a full programme on the Island.
October 15-16th - the Klondyke Steam Rally: Karen and Nigel Morley, and John and
Hazel Gatley will be there on the Sunday, so let Nigel know if you are going.
October 29th - Historic Car Register Rally starting from Sutton, Macclesfield; if you
want more details, contact me or Nigel.
Nov 5-6th – Norman Wisdom film day at Alistair Gregg’s Staden Grange Hotel,
Buxton. The plan is to arrive on Saturday afternoon for a marathon 24-hour session of
films (food will be fitted in!). At the time of going to press there are still rooms and also
camping facilities available. Contact Alistair (.. or Sue ....(
November 27th – Pre-Christmas lunch at the Ryles Arms, Sutton. Please book your
place and choice of menu (below) to Yvonne on 0...1 (directions next month).
January 29th, 2012 – Post-Christmas Lunch at The Knot, Rushton Spencer.
February (t.b.a.) – Manchester Science and Industry Museum.
March (t.b.a.) – Macclesfield Silk Museum and Treacle Market.
April 22nd – Drive-it-Day: Route being prepared by Dianne Davies.
