I've been directed to contact Neil Moore re Jupiter crankshaft main and bigend bearings, but can't find Neil listed in the members section nor do I have his email address. Can someone please tell me how to contact Neil about his use of Perkins diesel crankshaft bearings? I have several old Javelin or Jupiter engines that need complete overhauling and I surely will need new crankshaft and other bearings, including the large ball bearings for the gearbox mainshaft.
Thanks,
Ken Nelson - Detroit/Palo Alto Ca.

Gidday, Ken.
Neil's not a member of the JOAC, and doesn't usually use this forum. I'm unsure as to him being a member of the JCC of UK, but he's most certainly a much treasured member of the JCC of NZ . . . . he's a near foundation member and a Jowett Parts (NZ) Director. He's also a very competent Engineer who's designed some significant modifications and improvements to the Javelins and Jupiters.
I'm reluctant to post his contact e-mail address here, for obvious reasons, but if you go to the NZ Club site, on this page (http://www.jowettnz.sytes.net/Spareparts.html) you'll find a contact address under "Jowett New Old Stock or Remanufactured Parts". There may be a day or so delay in you getting a answer from Neil when working through Bob and Robyn as Neil doesn't have his own e-mail (nor computer for that matter!).
If your enquiry is really urgent send me a personal email from this forum by immediate return and I'll reveal his wife's work e-mail address (as can also be found on page 36 in the latest "Flat Four").
I hope this helps . . .
Best regards.
Leo.
