JOWETT CAR SPARES
PEAR TREE WORKS, WOODSIDE ROAD, WYKE,
BRADFORD BD1 2 8HT; Tel. 01274 604455
Javelin boot seal rubber to original specification is currently in production and
should be in stock by the time you receive this Jowetteer - p.o.a.
Bradford & pre-war silencers, CC Bradford ‘Y’ pipes, early & late pre-war ‘Y’
pipes, will all be in stock in the near future - p.o.a.
Following concerns about the durability of Javelin & Jupiter oval exhaust
flange gaskets (part no. 52027), we have ordered a new quantity in a graphited
material. This material is more robust in structure, and is resilient to higher
temperatures. We looked at producing this part as original. i.e. copper novus, but
the price was prohibitive.
To date we have been fulfilling orders for replacement piston rings using new
old stock from our supplier. Stocks are now exhausted and we intend ordering new
manufacture piston rings for Javelin & Jupiter, Bradford, & 7hp. Prices in due
course. —lan Priestley
