A bit of Legacy progress!

Just to let people know that the scanning of the 2007 Jowetteer is progressing. I'm doing one month at a time, as I can fit it in with my hectic life! It actually only takes about 35 minutes per issue. I shall put all the files onto a DVD when finished and send it off to Alastair. The work on converting it to searchable format will then be done, and after final checking it will be available in due course on the Legacy Project for all to see. Others are working on various items and the more people we can get to do the simple scanning, the sooner we will get more useful historical and technical stuff for all to access in the future.
Most people have been very positive about the Legacy Project (and rightly so - what's there to be un-positive about?), but it does mean a lot of plodding work to get stuff on-line and accessible, so, come on folks there's a positive contribution that every member can make, tech or non-tech minded alike.
