Dizzy cap

Post by Tony Fearn »

This is on eBay at the moment:-

The perceived wisdom, even now, is that there are many Jowett items still coming up for sale, and quite a number of people think that Jowett consumables are so numerous that when they'll need something in the future it will be available 'off the shelf'.

Wake up!

Tony.

P.S. Don't have anything to do with this advert, but am just passing-on a philosophy I've adhered to over the past 48 years of being the guardian of 'Mary Ellen'.

There will come a time when these items won't be available at reasonable money. So if you are expecting to keep your Jowett for the next xxxx years then consider the consumables.

Woods regularly list Bradford Dizzy caps - suspect that they may have several.
More disappointed that no one bid on the pre-war cylinder recently listed these must be rare - at least I have not seen one in Halfords recently
