:D Beaudy mate,cobber,digger,bloke,goodonya.
Now that we've got that out of the way, welcome to the Aussie section.
Jowett's are traveling the roads of OZ in increasing numbers so, letts hear the latest.
We had a vit to Samford on Saturday and a positive meeting to update our local members. We now have a local committee organizing the Queensland events.Three Jupiters and two javelins braved the rain to attend.I have to confess that my Jup hid in the garage, but our Jav was there to fly the flag.

Wonderful that we now have another category to look at within JowettTalk, and welcome to the site. It's rather good that I've seen it today, as most of the OZ Jowett Club members that went to their recent Rally will have met Bill Locke. He's just been, with his mate Roger, to my house for lunch as he's travelled North to help one of our oldest members - Bob Mercer- to sort out the remnants of his Javelin spares. Bob ( at 85) has had to cease driving his Javelin (HOT 3) due to joint problems. He has been in the reformed JCC Northern Section since 1962, just a short time before I was asked to join. I reckon Bob would go down a treat in Oz as he still holds the same ethos as he did when he was much younger with respect to Jowetts, and would fit in with you all over there, especially with the Sydney branch of Jowetteers, to whom I send greetings. Spread the word. Let's have more of the same. Regards to you all, Tony Fearn.

:D Greetings Tony,
Bill was the one who told me that the brakes on the Jav were crap the steering was crap and the engine was crap, and the were too,but it got him to Armidale ok. 8)
We got on really well and I hope we see the guys again for next OZ rally.
We finally got the air out of the brakes and a few other things sorted,so the Jav is going pretty well now.
