JOWETT CENTENARY RALLY 2010. WILL YOU BE THERE?

Post by Tony Fearn »

Just thought I'd set-up a post so that all the 252 Jowetteers that are signed up to JowettTalk can see which of us will be at Wakefield in 2010 for the Centenary Rally.

So don't be shy, just let us know via this post. It'll only take a minute.

You'll know the names from the website, and no doubt we'll all get a name badge, so we'll all be able to put faces to names.

According to the info. from the JCC Northern Section AGM yesterday there are already over 100 rooms booked.

Tony.

Pauline and I will be there and according to Alan Stanley the president ofJowett Car Club of New Zealand writing in Flat Four so will 16 Kiwi Jowett owners who have also registered with another half dozen thinking about it
Alan's article also makes it clear that we Brits are also invited toFielding in April for their National Rally
Next job for us then is to find seats in Jowetts for these Kiwis

Thinking about it!!!!!
Joking apart - over 100 rooms gone.
This is not a Wakefield rally - it is a Yorkshire Rally and more importantly it is the Centenary Rally. Don't miss it!
Activity will cover West, south and North Yorks.
We have lots of visitors form abroad - most recent a party of 10 or so from Europe, WITH CARS!!
Please plan to make our visitors very welcome.
and Drummond....... you can come if you behave!!!!!

. . . still thinking, but this time thinking way ahead to The NZ National Rally 2010 in Feilding. So here's something for you guys and gals to think about looking at . . .

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feilding,_New_Zealand

http://www.feilding.co.nz/

Then there's this to think about as well . . . Manfield's marvelous racing circuit's at Feilding too

http://www.v8raceexperience.co.nz/manfeild_park_map.pdf

. . and how about here http://www.v8raceexperience.co.nz/video.html (but no promises of you being able to experience this in a Jowett) :D

In fact, just think, you could do a Google search for "Feilding", "Manfield" and let those sites lead you onwards with their links :)

Best regards.
Leo.

Absolutely wonderful!!???

Including myself, and as at November 4th 2009, there will be at least nine of us that are involved with JowettTalk that will be coming to Wakefield.

What's happening to the rest of you? We have it as fact that over 100 rooms have been booked already. Do we not expect that even the Honourable Webmaster will be there with his family?

Come on Chaps and Chapesses. If you look at this site, why don't you just click on the 'Post reply' at the bottom of the page of these posts and add the fact that you'll be there also?

The dictionary states that 'apathy'is a passionless existence, an indolence of mind, and 'apathetic' means insensible to emotion.

So come on! Sort out your emotions and let us all know whether you'll be there --OR NOT--.

We have booked our 2 rooms (Rachel and Sara have to have their own room now) just need to get the bradfords sorted now, should be a new van and maybe a new lorry, looking foward to the rally and meeting everybody again,
Has anybody seen Bill Purves bradford in the film The Stone of Destiny, 37 minutes into the film, left side of picture plus a Javelin on the right side of the picture
