Recently had someone wanting to use the wiring diagram for some test questions. Not surprised see http://jowett.org/jowettnet/dt/tech/mod ... Alternator
This was set up to provide redundancy for rallying and is rather complex.
Wiring diagram.

Yes no problem. As you know NKD258 was heavily modified to account for Pirelli Marathon, summer rallies in the Alps, and LeJog winter rallies and racing.
The main complications were large spotlights with many combinations of fog, dip, spot and head with back-up redundancy in light circuits, separate earth return wires to all components, overdrive, water and oil temp sensors in heads and oil filter, ability to swap alternator to dynamo rapidly, emergency cut-off, electric fan control, reversing lamps, fully fused and relayed for on the move repairs, navigation lamp, 'potty' power, Halda lighting, repair flood lamp, electronic Tacho, electronic ignition.
