Javelin seen on Sunday's Miss Marple

Post by PaulB »

Hi Guy's.

Was anybody watching Miss Marple, on Sunday from 8pm?

It was very good, and made even better when, for an all to brief moment, there was a lovely font and rear end shot, of a lime green Javelin passing between a couple of iron gates.

And I just wondered if anybody new who's car it was.

Possibly the same green Javelin that appeared in the film 'Vera Drake'
Maybe on the books of a film vehicle agency.

Tinker, Tailor . .. ...

Post by ian Howell »

On the same general subject, has anyone got the videotape or CD of the Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy series that was on TV years ago? (I have both, so don't try to sell me either!).

My black Javelin features very briefly in a night scene where the spooks are checking that they are not being followed. If you have access to it, listen for the 'clunk' of a Javelin bonnet as the spy closes it after pretending to fiddle with the works!

(It's a very good film anyway!).
The devil is in the detail!
